Barbara Roberts Chavez
Ms. Chavez is a founding Principal of Destiny Grace, Inc. She is primarily responsible for assisting our clients with their labor relations needs. Ms. Chavez is a labor relations expert with over 20 years of experience in employment matters. She has experience in assisting companies and organizations by guiding their senior-level management staff through the complex labor management process. She has facilitated staff development seminars and training to assist managers and supervisors with understanding the collective bargaining process.
Ms. Chavez is gifted in assisting senior management staff to effectively understand their role as they prepare to interface with labor in the formulation of joint labor management committees, contract negotiations and contract interpretation. Ms. Chavez is trained in the Interest Based Bargaining approach. She offers invaluable information and assistance to our clients as they focus on identifying the interests and concerns they share with their staff.
Ms. Chavez also believes that cultural diversity in any workplace should be celebrated. She is specially trained to work with organizations to provide education and training on how cultural diversity enhances the workplace and why our differences should be celebrated.
Ms. Chavez is an experienced work-place representative and can provide guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors who are defending work-place actions such as contract grievances, NLRB hearings and equal employment investigations. Ms. Chavez, can also provide organizations and companies with assistance as they prepare for contract negotiations with staff unions, and in the creation, roll out and implementation of workplace policies, regulations and standard operating procedures.
Ms. Chavez holds a Bachelors degree from prestigious Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She is a licensed realtor with the State of Maryland and affiliated with Keller Williams Preferred properties, which is the nation’s fourth largest realtor. Ms. Chavez is a private real estate investor and is committed to assisting victims of domestic violence who are transitioning from shelters to finding permanent homes which they can ultimately own and take pride as homeowners.

Roderick M. Chavez
Mr. Chavez is a founding Principal of Destiny Grace Inc. He is primarily responsible for the oversight of Real Estate and Business Processes performed by Destiny Grace Inc.
He has Real Estate Experience as a private investor in the Real Estate market with over 10 years of general Real Estate experience involving appraising property, analyzing market studies, evaluating right of way rights, eminent domain procedures, acquisition, disposition, marketing, transaction negotiations, leasing, and project management.
His Cellular Experience includes performing site acquisition, lease negotiations, advising clients on cellular site placement for various telecommunication companies listed on the Fortune 500. He has co-managed the cellular leasing program for the District of Columbia school district.
He has extensive Enhanced Use Lease experience formerly as a project manager/negotiator with The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He managed the Picatinny Arsenal, Camp Navajo, Yuma Proving Ground, Fort Detrick Power Plant, and Fort Detrick Gateways projects. In addition, he worked on business term negotiations for these projects as well as negotiations for Snake Creek and Aberdeen Proving Ground-Maryland Boulevard. Mr. Chavez drafted portions of the sample Army lease, master agreement, escrow agreement, ccr’s (covenants, conditions and restrictions) leasing and management plan and other transaction related documents. Mr. Chavez has served as an advisor or voting board member on the Army source selection panel for various Enhanced Use Lease projects.
His Business Process experience includes developing business processes and procedures for various entities to help them gain better control over their daily operations. Mr. Chavez has developed an operations manual that can be tailored to suit the individual needs of businesses desiring complete compliance with regulatory agencies, simplified record keeping, reliable internal auditing systems resulting in overall increased productivity from their daily operations.
In addition, Mr. Chavez has experience managing a multijurisdictional law office, business development, and various entrepreneurial pursuits.
Mr. Chavez has a Juris Doctorate degree (J.D.) completed coursework towards a Master of Public Administration degree (M.P.A), a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications with a Minor in Music History, 95 hours of continuing education from the Appraisal Institute, and over 100 hours of government sponsored continuing education in the areas of project management, planning and control, acquisition, appraisal and leasing.
